There are several considerations to be made when choosing the appropriate plants for the landscape. Certainly the customers ideas (likes, dislikes, etc) are most important. Using this information, we get information as to the "look" that is desired (tropical, formal, desert, etc). After considering the available environment (shade/sun, size of area, color and shape of house, existing plants and/or focal issues, etc.), plants can be determined by size, color, and texture in order to offer the most pleasing presentation. We recognize that most of our customers want a beautiful landscape with minimal maintenance.
