Pavers are typically installed over a bed of stabilized sand that has been compacted to give a firm base. They can be used to make patios, walks, driveways, or anything that cement or stone can be used to make. They provide a distinct look which can give the impression of an old cobbled surface or a pristine brick affect. We often recommend pavers instead of flagstone or cement when tree roots or shifting soil are a problem.
